I need to purchase a USB wireless network adapter for my desktop. What security issues should I be worried?
WHat do i need to protect myself?
what is the best usb adapter?
I've used both a dlink and linksys usb wireless adapter... probably any one is fine.
Ideally, you'd like the wireless network you connect to to be secured with encryption. And you want a firewall that checks inbound and outbound traffic. (I'm assuming you have antivirus and antispyware already. If not, get it.)
