I like to stare at things for a long time and pretend like I am them. I like it when people admit that they don't know things. I love chill people. I seriously really love it when people are chill. And when they have a super dry sense of humor too...oh man, that's the best. I believe that most things are more similar than not...but find subtle differences the most interesting. I love for people to bring this out in their music. Especially in their voices. I like to take time.

I was born in La Crescenta, California, the youngest of four boys, and moved to Ventura, CA when I was three. My first favorite band was Van Halen. I am still interested in favorites, though mostly because it makes for a fun conversation. I have always been a big fan of conversation, only I am becoming more and more interested in things that don't talk...or have a different way of talking.

I moved from Ventura to San Francisco when I was eighteen to go to college. I really enjoyed college, so much so that I am now in graduate school in Chicago. I study music. I love to study music. I study the shit out of it...but I always put my feelings first. I have feelings. Only I'm starting to not want to talk about them as much in my music. I think I'm going to start writing more songs about nature, about color, and about light. These are the things that seem to inspire me most. I hope I can turn them into beautiful and interesting songs that make you smile. Do you like music to be interesting? Do you like it to make you feel gooood?? Do you want to be entertained??? All I really want is to be reminded of beautiful things.
