haircut and color help?
hey i have thick long straight dark dark dark brown (looks kinda blak) hair and tan skin
i have a hair appt tom and wanted to dye it red and get tons of long layers and angles
is that a good idea
if yes--whats a good style and what shade red
if no---what should i get done?

No!!! Your hair is beautiful the way it is!!! I have died my hair several times before all different colors, including red. Get the layers, but leave the color alone. Brunettes are so beautiful! Layers will give you a lot of depth, which will be very cute in my opinion. But haircolor damages your hair so bad, especially if you keep redoing it. It will dry it out and fade to a weird color (red does that especially) then you will have to cover it up again and damage it some more. Your hair may get to the point where you will have wished you didnt do it. I'm going through that right now, for the 4th time in my life! I will never die my hair again. It's much prettier brown.
